The eight-minute video is perfectly simulated and does a perfect job of visualizing what would happen if a nuclear bomb 100 times the size of the one dropped on Hiroshima by the U.S. hit a city of 4 million people.

Step by step, the video goes through each stage of the nuclear explosion and details them all in the simulation. Kilometer by kilometer, Halloran explains how many people would die in the process. He also goes into people dying by radiation from contaminated particles.

Halloran says in the video that he made the video to remind people of how dangerous new weapon technologies can be. He ends the video by saying, "We can continue the work of ensuring that this nightmare simulation never becomes a reality." And it is a message to stand by.
